Tomatoes with Parmesan and Thai Basil August 12, 2008

The best way to enjoy fresh summer tomatoes is the simplest way possible. These tomatoes were from the Green City Market.

Fresh tomatoes – sliced
Parmesan cheese – grated
Thai basil (from my little indoor herb garden!) – sliced
Salt and Pepper

Simply slice the tomatoes after rinsing and lay them out. Sprinkle with cheese, basil and seasonings and enjoy with that big hunk of steak.

  1. Sounds delicious! I make a good crazy chicken rice noodle dish with Thai basil.
    I’m looking for more recipes that use that herb.
