Pear, Blue Cheese, Cream of Balsamic Crostini January 8, 2008

Filed under: Appetizer — cookinghussy @ 1:46 pm

This is a really easy and pretty appetizer. My co-worker Shea mentioned it once and I’ve always wanted to try it. The combination of blue cheese, fruit and cream of balsamic is very nice and not over powering.

Blue Cheese, sliced
2 pears, sliced (mine weren’t as ripe as I would have liked, but still okay)
French bread, cut into slices
Cream of balsamic

Slice bread and toast in the oven for a few minutes. Slice blue cheese and put one slice on each piece of bread. Top with a slice of pear and drizzle with cream of balsamic.

Servings: 4 servings
